01 / YOUR JOURNEY
Plan the actual venue
The actual facility matters when planning a trip from France. Diamond Defence publishes Swiss training in the Zurich and Zug areas. Find the address on the venue page and the specific course date, then plan around the start time and meeting point.
02 / THE COURSE
Choose a level that fits
You can start with supervised pistol training or choose a later module if you meet its prerequisites. Check Rifle/AR15 Basic 1 and advanced courses individually. Each course page explains the equipment and documents requested for its date.
03 / TOGETHER
A course for your group
For three or more private participants from France, a tailored course may suit your plans. Tell us your experience, preferred subjects and timeframe. We can discuss a suitable format and venue.
SWISS SHOOTING CULTURE
Welcome to the Swiss shooting tradition.
Switzerland has an active, broad-based shooting culture. Its legal framework differs from those of neighbouring countries and offers a wide range of lawful sporting opportunities. Visitors from Germany, Austria, France and Italy are welcome to explore our supervised courses. The course page explains the training level and equipment; we are happy to help you choose.
Bringing your own firearm across the border involves separate rules. fedpol explains when a European Firearms Pass and an invitation are relevant to temporary import for a sporting event. Find current details in the fedpol import guidance and the Swiss government overview.
Is there a course directly on the French border?
This page does not promise a border venue. Published Swiss locations are in the Zurich and Zug areas. Check the venue for each date and explore the full location directory for other facilities.
