Diamond Defence · Institutional training
Public authorities & security companies
Training planned around your organisation’s requirements. We agree learning objectives, participant prerequisites and the training framework with the responsible contact person.
01 / Training scope
Training aligned with your organisation.
Content and format are agreed for each enquiry. The starting point is the participants’ existing level of training, the equipment used and the organisation’s requirements.
Public authorities
We coordinate the participant group, learning objectives, location and time available with the responsible training contact. The scope is agreed before a commitment is made.
Security companies
We plan training for staff with comparable prerequisites. Topics, firearm systems and prior experience form the basis for a suitable training concept.
- Safe handling
- Safety principles and responsible handling of the firearm systems used by the participants.
- Foundations and further training
- Pistol and rifle training matched to the group’s level of experience and agreed learning objectives.
- Defined training framework
- Group size, location, duration, equipment requirements and the intended evaluation are agreed in advance.
02 / Collaboration
From enquiry to an agreed programme.
Establish the requirements
Organisation, country of establishment, participant group, prior training and intended learning objectives.
Review the framework
Assess feasibility, participant prerequisites and the legal requirements applicable to the planned collaboration.
Agree the programme
Define content, scope, location, schedule and commercial terms in a proposal for your organisation.
Deliver and review
Carry out the agreed training and review the learning objectives with the designated contact person.
03 / Foreign organisations
Prior approval by the FDFA.
Diamond Defence collaborates with foreign public authorities and security companies only after prior review and approval by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), International Security Division (ISD / AIS).
The competent specialist unit is the Section for Export Controls and Private Security Services (SEPS). Depending on the proposed activity, the notification and review procedure under the Federal Act on Private Security Services Provided Abroad (PSSA) applies.
We clarify the applicable requirements before making a binding commitment or commencing the collaboration.
