WHO IS IT FOR?

The CQB Daycourse (Close Quarter Battle) at Diamond Defence is aimed particularly at shooters who have completed our AR15/Rifle Tactical course, as well as military and police personnel with very good knowledge of the AR15 (assault rifle) and pistol. Participation with a 9 mm submachine gun is also possible.

Private participants can book open dates if they meet the stated requirements. For security companies and public agencies we plan team programmes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

During one training day, participants receive practical instruction in close-quarter and tactical training. Our CQB training develops the skills needed to operate safely and effectively in confined spaces.

What is CQB?

Close Quarter Battle (CQB), also known as Close Quarters Combat (CQC), refers to combat and defensive techniques used in confined urban environments. These include situations in buildings, aircraft, ships and other restricted spaces. The focus is on responding quickly and precisely to threats while safeguarding the team and bystanders.

Objectives of CQB training with Diamond Defence

Our CQB training aims to develop effective, stress-resistant and safe performance in dynamic and often complex environments. Key objectives include:

Situational awareness: recognising and assessing threats in real time.

Teamwork and communication: clear, efficient communication and coordinated movement within the team.

Precision and speed: fast, precise performance under demanding conditions, with an emphasis on efficiency.

Stress management: managing stress and making decisions under pressure.

We place great importance on participants developing a thorough understanding of safety rules alongside their practical skills.

Our team includes experienced professionals with military and police training backgrounds. Each instructor brings extensive knowledge and practical experience. Our aim is to develop both skills and the confidence and mental resilience required in demanding situations.

The venue and exact timings are shown with each published course date.
