A structured introduction to pistol training
Theory is a substantial part of Pistol Intro. We discuss safety rules, firearm systems and ammunition, together with Swiss weapons law on purchase, transport and storage. You have time to ask questions and become familiar with the equipment before supervised practice.
No prior experience is required. The course page sets out the actual scope, included services and personal participation requirements.

Check equipment before the date
For Pistol Intro, a pistol is provided within the published course package. Check the course page and confirmation for other included items and anything you must bring. There is no need to rush into buying equipment before you know what is appropriate for your plans.
If you own a pistol already, ask in advance whether and under which conditions you may use it on this course. Equipment, prior experience and training level need to be considered together.

Your pathway after the first course
After an introduction, assess your experience realistically. The Basic levels offer further training, with their own requirements on each course page. Completing one session does not automatically qualify you for every higher level.
Choose your first date with the course profile and actual venue in mind. If you simply want an initial impression, ask us about supervised trial shooting.
Questions before you start
Is Pistol Intro the same as trial shooting?
No. Pistol Intro follows a defined training format. The model selection and setting for trial shooting are agreed individually.
Do I need my own pistol for the first course?
A pistol is provided for Pistol Intro as described on the course page. Also check the other included services and current equipment list.
Can I book a Basic level straight away?
The requirements of the specific Basic level apply. If you are completely new, explore Pistol Intro first or discuss your starting point with us.
